Let us remember the golden heritage of our country and feel proud to be a part of India.

Republic Day of India is celebrated every year on 26th of January. A huge celebration event is organized annually in the national capital, New Delhi. It is celebrated at the Rajpath, India Gate before the President of India. 

A grand ceremonial parade of Indian army takes place at Rajpath to honor the Indian Flag. The parade takes place from Raisina Hill (near Rashtrapati Bhavan) to past India Gate along the Rajpath. 

Before it, a floral wreath tribute event at the Amar Jawan Jyoti takes place by the Prime Minister of India. It is performed so to pay honor and remember the martyred soldiers at the India Gate. 

At India gate, the name of all the freedom fighters are written who have sacrificed their lives for the country during freedom movement and other succeeding wars to protect the independence of country
